Location: Santa Fe, Argentina
Target Market: Urban Security
Products: SDS750PRO and SCR363
Application: High-tracking capability security cameras used in critical areas for crime prevention

Santa Fe, the ninth-largest city in Argentina, is a key location for transportation and trade due to its proximity to rail terminals and crossings. The city’s dense concentration of large buildings and dazzling lights at night has turned it into one of the major tourist destinations. As the city continues to develop, its growth is rapidly increasing.

Due to its population of 450,000 and growing, city officials decided to enhance safety measures. Santa Fe had been experiencing an increase in theft and vandalism rates. One of the targeted areas for improvement was the lower part of the city. These areas required cameras aimed at increasing safety. The cameras needed to provide live city monitoring and traffic control simultaneously. Additionally, they needed to track crimes and generate visual evidence. The cameras had to be highly durable and withstand harsh conditions. As a result, Messoa cameras were chosen for the security project.

One of the selected cameras was the SDS750PRO. The SDS750PRO is a speed dome camera with very low lux capabilities. It features a Sony EXVIEW HAD CCD, 128X WDR, and Day/Night capability with ICR, making round-the-clock surveillance possible even under challenging conditions. This camera uses a Sony 36X motor for zoom, enabling it to capture images from long distances. The 460-degree pan and 200-degree tilt allow for effective tracking of events and suspicious individuals.

Another selected camera was the SCR363. This model is equipped with low lux and night-vision LEDs. Lumi 3 technology enables high-quality image capture even in complete darkness. External controllers for zoom adjustment and the Varifocal feature make it easier to fine-tune. The camera’s body is made from die-cast aluminum, and its heat-treated glass cover makes it ideal for outdoor environments.
