Description

The GV-FWC is a converter that integrates GeoVision’s face-recognition-based cameras, software, and readers into access control systems. It sends access card data, paired with Face IDs, to controllers via TCP/IP or Wiegand connections. When connected via TCP/IP, a face image is transmitted alongside the access data upon face recognition.

Additionally, the GV-FWC features an alarm output, such as a warning light, that can be triggered upon successful face recognition. For high-security applications, the GV-FWC enables double-authentication by requiring users to swipe their paired cards on a connected Wiegand reader, in addition to the face recognition access.
