We are pleased to announce the release of two new detectors, the Wireless Heat Detector (WH588P) and the Wireless Carbon Monoxide Detector (WC588P). These detectors are compatible with the following Paradox wireless systems and receivers;
- MG6130: Magellan 32-Zone All-In-One Wireless Console
- MG6160: Magellan 32-Zone All-In-One Wireless Console
- MG6250: Magellan 2-Partition 64-Zone Wireless Console
- MG5000 and MG5050: Magellan 32-Zone Wireless Transceiver Control Panel
- RTX3: Wireless Expansion Module
- RPT1: Wireless Repeater Module
- RX1: Wireless Receiver
WH588P:
The wireless heat detector is intended to be used as an addition to the WS588P wireless smoke detector. Heat alarms detect temperatures of 58°C (135°F) or greater, and are sensitive to a fixed temperatures. The WH588P has an LED operation indicator, a self-test button, and has been optimized to reduce the nuisance alarms due to contamination, dust and insects. Furthermore it has battery tamper-resist feature and an auto-hush function to stop the alarm when temperature is below the alarm point. The wireless heat detector is ideal for kitchens, garages, boiler rooms and other areas where there are normally high levels of fumes, smoke, or dust.
WC588P:
The Wireless Carbon Monoxide Detector protects against fatal levels of carbon monoxide (CO). Carbon Monoxide is a colorless, odorless and tasteless poison gas that can be fatal when inhaled at highly concentrated levels. The most likely sources of CO in your home are appliances used for heating and cooking. Additionally, vehicles running in attached garages can produce dangerous levels of CO.
With it’s a high sensitivity and consistent stability, the WC588P offers a high level of protection against CO. This detector has an LED operation indicator showing green when there is no CO detected and red when CO is present. The unit also has a battery tamper-resist feature, and an auto-reset after the carbon monoxide is cleared.
