دوربین GV-BX2700-FD مخصوص تشخیص چهره طراحی شده است. این دوربین از کدک ویدئویی H.265 پشتیبانی می‌کند که نرخ فشرده سازی بهتری را در عین حفظ کیفیت بالای تصویر در پهناهای باند شبکه کوچک ارائه می‌کند. این دوربین مجهز به سنسور تصویر سوپرلولاکس CMOS است که به دوربین اجازه می‌دهد تا در فضاهای تاریک، تصاویر به صورت رنگی و زنده ارائه شوند.
دوربین GV-BX2700-FD دارای یک پورت USB کوچک است که با کمک آداپتور GV-WiFi (اختیاری) یا حافظه‌های خارجی که از هارد درایو USB استفاده می‌کنند، از اتصالات بیسیم پشتیبانی می‌کند.
