GV-VD8700 Vandal Proof IP Dome Camera with Face Recognition
The GV-VD8700 Vandal Proof IP Dome Camera incorporates advanced face recognition technology, allowing real-time identification of key personnel from a pre-defined database. The camera can store up to 10,000 face profiles, which can be categorized to suit various business needs, such as customer service, security management, and more. It can recognize faces at a distance of up to 4 meters (14 feet) and identify up to 10 individuals simultaneously, with a quick recognition time of under 2 seconds. This feature ensures fast identification of VIP guests and potential intruders. When integrated with GV-VMS, face recognition triggers alerts based on predefined rules, enhancing security management.
Built for outdoor environments, the GV-VD8700 meets IK10 vandal resistance and IP66 ingress protection standards, ensuring durability in harsh conditions. It supports the H.265 video codec for improved compression, maintaining high image quality while reducing network bandwidth usage. Equipped with IR LEDs, the camera provides an effective night vision range of up to 40 meters (130 feet). Additionally, its WDR and Backlight Compensation features enable accurate face detection in challenging lighting conditions.
